History/Geography KS3 – Jodi delivers an interactive session using games and videos. Young people will often be off their chairs doing an interactive challenge to help them focus and learn. Young people are also asked if there is anything they want to learn about and Jodi sets to work behind the scenes to implement it.
Jodi implements the Classical Education for this session.
Current Affairs – Lively opinion sharing and debate, on news and current affairs which the young people are interested in. Led by Joan, who has a background in TV research. The young people use articles from First News and other sources as a starting point to discuss, debate and analyse news and current affairs. With so much information available from so many sources, they also look at ways to check how accurate and reliable sources are.
