We are exploring the scientific history and mechanisms of quantum biology, energy and astronomy; delving deeper into what makes us human, using fundamental principles in physics, self observation, and looking at experiments throughout our human history to show the frequencies that govern and mould our lives.
We will be performing some of these ground breaking experiments ourselves and encouraging our young people to take the lead, plan their own experimental designs and discuss what they have learnt through this process. They will then take charge in terms of the topics they would like to delve into. This self governed learning allows them to understand the scientific reasoning behind the questions they are burning to answer, whilst giving them further take-home ideas and questions to keep their curiosity alive.”
We will be doing more advanced Crest Award levels in September as well as repeating Bronze.
CREST AWARDS – Young people decide on a scientific question that they will be able to model in class (Genevieve will provide them with examples). They will be writing up their own experiment, asking for resources/equipment and writing predictions. The level they do will be decided on the individuals ability.
They will do the experiment, write observations, analyse results and what can be improved and how well it answered the original question
