Our targeted exam preparation sessions are designed to help young people build confidence, refine their skills, and achieve their highest potential. For the remainder of this term we are concentratig on Romeo & Juliet. We will inform via email when we have theatre trips planned and what book to you will need to purchase.
In this results-oriented course, your young person will:

We will cover aspects of the GCSE English curriculum, including:
Literature analysis: Exploring key themes, characters, and literary devices in various texts.
Non-fiction analysis: Examining arguments, persuasive techniques, and the use of language in non-fiction texts.
Essay writing: Developing strong thesis statements, organising ideas effectively, and crafting persuasive arguments.
Creative writing: Unleashing imagination and developing skills in storytelling, poetry, and descriptive writing.

Those who do not move onto the sports session at 13.45pm are welcome to stay on and study/do homework
